Are you looking to buy BMS Racing JS-2 HDZero Frame in Australia?
This is the primary racing machine for the BMS Racing team. Developed for the purpose of competing internationally for the 2023 season in a team environment, there are a host of changes from the original JS-1 to suit the new requirements.
Note: TPU Pod & TPU parts not included. They can be purchased separately in our JS-2 collection or STLs downloaded for free.
The prototype analog version of this frame won the 2023 New Zealand Open along with the 2023 Australian International Airshow Drone Racing Open .
These changes include:
-Fits larger ESCs such as Foxeer Reaper 60A slim with rearward XT60 & factory Capacitor.
-Improved aerodynamic balance
-Improved weight distribution
-Arm bolts are independent from the stack bolts (easier arm replacement)
-Optional locked in Camera tilt (tilt range is 25-75 degrees)
-True X Layout, improved efficiency below 45 degrees angle during forward flight.
-Airframe weight in standard config including TPU (No electronics or motor bolts) is ~76g (Analog) or ~80g (HDZero)
Kit Includes:
Everything needed to build the frame, less the TPU Parts and Electronics.
So Battery Pad, Battery Strap is included in the kit.
Recommended parts list (HDZero):
VTX Antenna: TBS Triumph pro (U.Fl for standard TPU)
VTX: HDZero Race V3 or Foxeer HDZero VTX
Camera: HDZero 90FPS Cam with lens upgrade
FC: Foxeer F7 or H7 FC 20x20 (note if 10v bec required - get the appropriate FC that can supply the right power output for your HDZero VTX depending on if you choose one with 5V or 10V requirement or you may choose to run a BEC instead)
ESC: Foxeer Reaper 60A Slim
Propeller: Gemfan 51366 V3, Gemfan 5127, Gemfan 51466 V2 or HQProp BMS
Gemfan v2 or v3? For most tracks the V3 is the better race prop / feel, however if you need to break the 200km mark then the V2
Motor: T-Motor BMS Raptor V2
Battery: Tattu R-Line V5 1400 or GNB 1300 or GNB 1500
RX: TBS Tracer, TBS Crossfire or Radiomaster ELRS

JS-2 HDZero Build Guide
Note: the Bolt sizes used on the frame and in particular the 6 bolts that lock in the roll cage in conjunction with the standoffs. At either end you use 6mm bolts and in the mid section you use 8mm bolts which allows for the TPU VTX antenna mount.
When installing the TPU VTX antenna mount, the 8mm only need to be just nipped up. Do not over tighten them as they TPU will make sure they don't come loose.
HD-Zero Whoop Lite Mounting
Note: The there are 2 main types of HDZero VTX Mounts. The above is for the HDZero Whoop Lite Board. You will need to remove both the upper and lower protective metal case (they simply pull off). You will also need to insert the provided rubber grommets.
Note: ESC is secured using 4 Nylon M3 Nuts.
The above image shows both the upper and lower TPU mounts without the Whoop Lite VTX. Basically sandwiched between both.
Foxeer HDZero VTX mounting
Similar to the Whoop Lite board, you will also need to insert the provided rubber grommets. The VTX is sandwiched between both upper and lower TPU mounts.
