Our VORON 3D-printed parts are suitable for building your own VORON 3D printer at home
There are a number of advantages that VORON 3D printers have over other types of 3D printers. For one, they’re much cheaper to build than most commercial 3D printers. They also have a smaller footprint, making them better suited to home use. The fact that they use open source hardware and software means that it’s easy to find replacement parts and modify the design to suit your needs – in which case, you’ve come to the right place.
And finally, VORONS are extremely well designed, so as long as you build it correctly (more on that in a moment) it will be a highly efficient and reliable 3D printer that consistently produces high quality prints.
Shopping for VORON parts? Here are some things to keep in mind when building your own VORON 3D Printer:
Use good quality parts (like the ones we supply here!)
Follow the instructions carefully – the VORON design is extremely well thought out and easy to follow, but mistakes can still be made
Take your time – this is not a project that can be rushed
Don’t buy a VORON kit if you’re new to 3D printing
You’ll need access to a crimper (and be proficient in crimping cables)
Allow between 25 and 30 hours to construct your VORON 3D printer from scratch (40-50 hours if it’s your first time)
