This item is for the 6inch version, or K6 version as we call it. Besides the distinctive aerodynamic pod, the frame itself is carefully designed to find a balance between strength, aerodynamics yet maximize strength from every gram. It has taken a lot of testing and we hope we have achieved this goal
The CF frame comprises seven separate CF pieces that are bonded to make for a very strong yet light weight frame which is partially hollow. This technique allows our design to put the CF where the strength is required. It is not indestructible by any measure and is not suitable for proximity flying!
This is definitely not a build for new flyers. That said, if you follow our build recommendations, it is easier than most of the latest pure X frames. It is a minimalist build targeting race flyers although a Gopro pod will be released in the near future.
The frame ships with a naked PDB which provides the cheapest and lightest build option. Most of our proto builds have been done in this way. We do provide an integrated PDB option which adds further strength to the frame but add around 12 grams. The integrated PDB includes an 8v reg which we rate to 500 milliamps in this application.
The frame is ridiculously quick, but most importantly it is smooth, very smooth. In the straights it is the quietest frame we know, it does not beat to the air to death! For the pilot, the corners are the most noticeable, the feel silky smooth and locked in.
The speed and tightness of the turns this frame is capable of along with the phenominal straight line speed is going to prove the recipe for a race winner.

Although the pod allows around 30mm in height, it is less wide above 12mm. The major focus for your build planning is to minimize the height of your FC stack. This is best achieved by:
Direct soldering – avoid all pin headers
FC board with built in regulator
Removal of VTX SMA connector and direct soldering of pigtail.
