Airlock is a filament resealing system that seals to the same standard as industrial vacuum machine. Now you can open and reseal your filament without worrying about it degrading and absorbing moisture and resuse them time and time again!

V2 is new from 1st Feb 2022 - Bags are now thicker, so less chance of snagging on a filament roll and piercing the bag.

The Vacuum Bags were designed to accommodate most Filament Spools on the market and have been tested with spools up to 8cm in width. The bags feature dual zip locks and a flat vacuum valve that allows the bags to be stored in their original boxes or stacked on top of each other.

The airlock bags are designed to be used with the Nanovac Vacuum Pump to keep all your filament from absorbing moisture.

The airlock Filament Vacuum Sealing System was designed by Judd from polyalchemy Filament and is an incredible product that Phaser FPV use in their print farm and 3D Printer setup.

Phaser FPV recommendations

Dry your filament with the Sunlu Filament Dryer & use it while printing with a Dryer Mount. When printing is finished, store it in the airlock bags and remove air with NanoVac Pump. You can then place a round humidity sensor in the spool adapter and have a good gauge of humidity on the spool when you go to print again. It may require drying again for optimal results however it won't take as long because of the storage in the bags. You can even stack all your filament on top of each other once they are in the airlock bags.

Best filament storage solution on the market

Best filament storage solution on the market. Between prints all of my stored rolls are key in Airlock bags. They come out still dry and it cuts my printing time significantly. Just pop out, into the AMS, and print. 10/10

This is the third set of bags I have purchased from Phaser FPV and they are a first class product. Along with the vacuum pump Phaser also sell the bags are easy to use and appear to be made to last. Some of the first bags I purchased have been used dozens of times and are showing no signs of deterioration. The service from Phaser FPV has always been prompt and friendly (Thanks Mark) and they are very happy to give execelent advice and guidance if needed. It is great to be able to visit a business in person and talk to the experts face to face. John

Durable bags

Nice, heavy-duty bags which feel like they’ll be very durable. The vacuum valves required very careful opening up with something thin and flat as they appear to be sealed closed out of the packet, however this has been the same for other similar bags I’ve used before, so I think it’s just a feature of this type of valve.

Note, I’m not using the small vacuum intended to be used with these bags, but a full-sized vacuum. Not sure if this is a factor, but it’s not really obvious to me why it would be.

Nano Vac & Airlock Filament Vacuum System

I purchased The Airlock Filament Sealing System with the Airlock Bags from Phaser FPV and I cannot believe the quality of the the Nano Vac and the bags. I have been using 'the other popular band of bags and hand pump' and have had a 50% to 60% failure rate with the the other popular band bags. I have now changed all my filament storage over to Airlock bags and have not had one failure or hole in a bag. I can highly recommend this system for storing filament both short and long term.

Excellent quality

These bags are excellent quality. I bought some cheap ones off ebay and they are little more than a time consuming nuisance. These are so much better especially when used with the Nano pump. Definitely worth the money to protect your small (or large 😬) fortune worth of filament from the dust and humidity.

Great system

Don't normally write reviews but in this case, received the items in really quick time, great service. Will definitely use them again.

New to 3d printing and an older bloke as well and found the vacuum pump and bags extremely simple to use and hopefully will protect the filament. Dryer was also easy to use. Just threw filament in for 3hrs before printing no problems. Only using pla at this stage but as I try different filaments will come in handy.

Keep Your Filament Fresh

I print with lots of exotic and expensive filaments and allowing it to go crunchy from atmospheric moisture costs big $s. Phaser have been good with post purchase support.

I wish they didn’t use Aramex (formerly SlowestWay) for some shipping options. They took 23 days from pickup to delivery 🧐.

Order in advance if you don’t want to pay for express shipment.

These bags cost a bit more but they also perform much better. With the cheaper bags I have issues after using them a couple of times. These bags work very well even after several uses. Certainly worth the extra dollar if you plan to re-use the bags
